About Teddy.

Published poet, playwright, and award-winning actor, Teddy Reis, is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He’s performed in live venues nationwide and is currently based in Los Angeles. Teddy moved to California with two suitcases and a dream, and quickly became a staple of the local regional theatre scene in sunny San Diego. It was in San Diego, where he enjoyed critical acclaim for his performances in the Actors Alliance Theatre Festival. He earned an Outstanding Performance in the AASD Festival in 2005, and again in 2006. In 2008, he performed the original solo show “My Life as a Geek,” to enthusiastic audiences, during the San Diego Comic-Con. Teddy was also the Host of the Sea Lion & Otter Show at Sea World San Diego, but please don’t hold that against him.

Teddy holds a B.F.A. from THE Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from the Conservatory Program at Second City Hollywood in 2014 and performed in the weekly Improv show, Second City House Ensembles. From 2013 to 2016, he regularly performed in the weekly live topical sketch comedy show, TMI Hollywoodand in 2017, graduated from the Long Form Improv Program at Upright Citizens Brigade. From 2019 to 2020, he did a stint as a writer and performer on the Featured House Sketch Team, Peach! at The Pack Theatre.

Other career highlights include being featured in a 2015 Super Bowl Commercial and working on a digital comedy short with Jerry Zucker.
